Following in the footsteps of Facebook’s Monday outage, LinkedIn reported connection problems Wednesday morning, taking to its official @LinkedInHelp Twitter account to tell users, “Our site is currently experiencing some issues. Our team is actively working on it. We’ll keep you updated here. Thanks for your patience.”
While single-serving site Down For Everyone Or Just Me? reported no problem shortly before 11:30 a.m. ET, many LinkedIn users attempting to log on to the job networking site encountered a blank screen. Access monitoring service Is It Down Right Now? also reported that LinkedIn.com is up and reachable, but it did note that 50 of its users had reported problems in the last few hours.
NBC News has attempted to contact LinkedIn.com and will update this report when we hear back.
At this time, Twitter remains the go-to place to crack wise over the latest down website.
