Your Naked Selfies Could be Hacked by Revenge Porn Sites

As the revenge porn epidemic spreads, it becomes even more invasive than exes uploading your nude photos to social media sites: Dozens of Texas women found personal, naked shots of themselves — which they hadn’t sent to anybody, ever — on a website called Texxxan.com, reports BBC News. This was likely accomplished by “revenge porn hackers” who raided cloud and email storage sites. One 33-year-old woman suspects that the photos of herself at 24 were stolen when she took her phone to a repair place. Horrifying.

Texxxan.com was shut down when certain photos turned out to be of women when they were underage, and some women have slammed its owner, 25-year-old Hunter Taylor, with a class-action civil lawsuit for damages under Texas invasion of privacy laws.
