A couple came home from a Christmas Eve family gathering to discover that a real-life Grinch had stolen their presents.
The front door of the home, on the 2100 block of High Street, had been broken into with a pry bar sometime between 5:45 p.m. and 7:40 p.m. Tuesday, according to a police report.
The suspect carried the victims’ items out through the garage to a vehicle, police said.
Among the stolen items were an iPad, a laptop, a gaming system, a $1,000 electric guitar, a drawer full of family heirlooms and $600 worth of Christmas presents.
No suspects have been identified.
